Al- Aqsa Academy for karate :
The academy was established in January 2004 in nablus and it is considered as begin the first academy specialized in self defense and karate in Palestine .
Al – AQSA academy inserted the culture , health , nutrition , psycho guidance and sport in a specialized scientific way . It also got the permission of the youth ministry for sport and the Palestine Union for karate . it is a member in the . P.K.F and W.K.C .
AL-AQSA academy consist of 2 halls equipped as the inter – national basics for sportif halls and designed in Japanese style . This 2 halls are enough for 1000 each week .
The first hall has a ground of wood and the second has a aground of gumastics – mats .

Al-Aqsa academy’s aims:
1) having an attentive generation ( body and mind )
2) spreading karate through our Islamic culture
3) preparing qualified players who can compete in Arabic and international championship
4) spreading " sport culture " for all the people
5) enlarging the use from this game for all who want to practice it
6) finding a health – center which pais attention for the youth and their meral and physical capacities
7) paying attention to the nutritional aspect for the sportifs
The academy’s achievements till today :
- participating in the international championship for karate in Britain . The players got 10 medals , 6 of them gold .
- the sport of karate was applicated as a school – syllabus in AL – manahel – school (privet school ) , which is the first one in Palestine .
- founding the first website for karate in Palestine specialized of karate and health nutrition address www.pal-karate.ps
- preparing a report about the academy spread through the world by aljazeera sportifs channel .
- making a championship having the neam of the president Abu Amar forty days after this death >
- training the deaf – mute the sport of karate for the first time in Palestine .
- the participation of the deaf- mute in a special championship under the sponsorship of the Palestine union of karate .
- having as a guest shihan Mohammad al- bakri , the chief of the Palestine union karate .
- choosing the trainer shatha Bsharat as the first Palestine coach foe women and girls .
- calssifiing sensei amen Bsharat as a local coach .
- the pariticipation of the swimming – team in the academy .
- choosing captain khalil Bsharat as a kung – fu trainer .
- Garduting four groups from the academy – players , 1500 play – ers .
- sensei amen Bsharat took parting in a course in deaf – mute – language .
- the training – team got certificates of arbitration from Japan .
- Making the first central festival for the academy players .
- Making local – seminars on television and through al – najah radio .
- Publishing pamphlets of nutrition , school superiority for the players .
